NIGERIA CONDOLES MOROCCO ON EARTHQUAKE THAT ClAIMS OVER A THOUSAND PEOPLE                                             09-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    The Federal Government has commiserated with the Government and people of the Kingdom of Morocco over the devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the South-Western part of Marrakech late on Friday, 8th September, 2023.

A statement by the spokesperson Federal Ministry Of Foregn Affairs Francisca Omayuli says Nigeris is deeply saddened by the impact of the earthquake that left over a thousand people dead and several others injured.

It says the Government and people of Nigeria extend their deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
