FG TO INAUGURATES A 37-MAN TRIPARTITE COMMITTEE ON NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE                                                                                                 29-01-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      The Federal Government is to inaugurate a 37-man Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage with a mandate to recommend a new National Minimum Wage for the Country.

The planned inauguration of the Committee is sequel to the approval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to a statement by the Director, Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Mr. Segun Imohiosen the inauguration of the committee will hold tomorrow at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja.

The Committee under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Bukar Goni Aji, former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has members drawn from the Federal Government, State Government, Private Sector, Organised Labour and the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association.
