6 MILITARY PERSONNEL HAVE BEEN WOUNDED IN AN ATTACK BY BANDITS IN NIGER                                                                                                               01-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Six military personnel have been wounded in an attack by bandits at Maganda village in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger state.

The bandits in their large number had during the attack today also  burnt down an amoured tanker belonging to the Nigerian Army.

Investigation conducted by Africa 247 revealed that for the past four days the bandits have been re-grouping and trooping on their motorcycles to Kawo Molawe in Shiroro Local Government Area as their new base where they were said to have launched the attack on the military personnel.

Those injured are currently receiving medical attention in Minna.

The bandits have also sent a warning message to the people of Bassa and Gurmana communities in the same Shiroro Local Government Area notifying them of their intention and plans to attack them any moment.

According to the bandits they were not coming  to kidnap any person for ransom but to kill any one from the area including the elderly women,  youth and children through massive destruction.

All efforts to confirm the attack from the Military end and to further know if some bandits have been injured or killed during the attack proved abortive.
