SWEARING IN MINNA:NIGER GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE GAS OPERATING VEHICLES AT A REDUCE PRICE TO REDUCE HARDSHIP.

Plans are underway by the Niger state government to come up with gas operating vehicles for inter and intra city services across the state.

This is to reduce the high cost of petrol operating vehicles and ammeliorate the sufferings of people of the state due to the removal of fuel subsidy by Federal Government.

State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago who stated this at the official swearing in of newly Commissioners and Special Advisers at a colourful ceremony in Minna said the transport fares would be at a reduced cost.

Alh Mohammed Umar Bago however appealed to Niger lites to be patient with the state government over the hardship faced stressing that efforts were on by his administration to provide palliative to mitigate their sufferings.

According to him the welfare of people of Niger state will continue to be accorded prominence nu his government as a deliberate step to improve and enhance their living standard for maximum benefits.

Alh Mohammed Umar Bago also charged the newly sworn in members of the state executive council and the Special Advisers to always visit their locality and touch  the lives of its people in a more positive way.

Responding on behalf of Commissioners and Special Advisers the Commissioner of Lands and Survey Barrister Morice Bello Magaji said they will serve with dignity respect and humility while insisting that they will not disappoint the Governor.

Barrister Morice Bello Magaji gave an assurance that they remain loyal to the policies and programme of Governor Umar Bago to succeed.

They were sworn by the representative of the Chief Judge Justice Haluma Ibrahim.
