KNSG SLASHES REGISTRATION FEE OF GOVT OWNED……………

The Kano state government says it has slashed the registration fees of tertiary institutions owned by the state by 50 percent for indigenes.
The state Commissioner for Higher Education Dr Yusuf Kofar Mata disclosed this in an interactive session with journalist in Kano.
Dr Kofar Mata said government took the decision considering the economic hardship created by the fuel subsidy removal so as to alleviate the challenges students were facing .
He said the reduction affects all Kano State indigenes studying regular courses for 2023/ 2024 academic session at kano state owned institutions, which include, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil (ADUST), Yusuf Maitama Sule University, (YUMSUK), Kano and Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education.
Others are Kano State Polytechnic, Aminu Kano Collage of Islamic and Legal Studies, Audu Bako College of Agriculture Danbatta, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso College of Advance and Remedial Studies Tudun Wada, and Kano State College of Education.
