By Sadiq Aminu                                                               General Christopher Musa assures citizens of quick and effective degrading of insurgents in the country.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa says the military is addressing the challenges of manpower, equipment and that of other logistics that would enhance the capabilities in curbing the insecurity across the country.
He stated this in Abuja at the closing of the maiden edition of the Chief of Defence Staff Joint Task Force Commanders Conference with the theme “towards enhancing joint task force operations for national security”.
General Musa emphasised the need for more synergy among security forces in the fight against insurgency and other criminal acts which the conference addressed.
The Chief of Defence Staff also stressed that the conference agreed to carry along Community Leaders, Religious Leaders and other influential individuals in decision of security implementation for an effective outcome in the society.
Defence Correspondent reports that the conference also agreed to strengthen cooperation with International security experts that would assist in curbing the challenges in the region.
