By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   Amidst moves to impeach the deputy governor of Ondo State, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa, the House of Assembly has directed the Chief Judge to constitute a panel of inquiry to investigate alleged allegation of gross misconduct leveled against him.

This followed legislative step taken by the House after writing the Deputy Governor of the allegations.

Speaking at the plenary, the Speaker, Mr Olamide Oladiji who explained that it was imperative to investigate any matter of allegation in line with constitution added that the House would follow due  process over the matter.

Mr Oladiji therefore directed the Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola to set up a Seven-Man Panel of inquiry to investigate the allegation against the Deputy Governor.

Meanwhile, the deputy governor has reportedly approached the state high court asking it to restrain the state house of assembly from proceeding with the move to impeach him.
