By Sadiq Aminu Governor Abba kabir yusuf has Charged Youths of nowadays to emulate the selfless service rendered by the nationalist who struggled for the independence of Nigeria.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf disclosed this during the 63rd Nigeria’s independence anniversary held at Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.
He said 1st October was the day Nigeria got its Independence From Britain , hence Nigerians should stay united continue to pray for the peaceful coexistence of the Nation.
The Governor congratulated Nigerians for the development recorded so far despite the challenges

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf called on the youths to be committed and render selfless services to the development of the Nation.
“Fellow compatriots, we are celebrating this year’s independence anniversary at a time of serious economic hardship arising from the removal of fuel subsidy. Here in Kano State, our administration has taken some practical steps to support people at the bottom of the social ladder with some palliatives. We have purchased 99 trailers of Rice, 150 trailers of maize for distribution to the most deserving households.”
” we have revived the Asiya Bayero pediatric hospital to international standard , Murtala Mohammad Hospital and we are currently working on renovating all the general hospitals across the 44 local government areas of the state”
The ceremony was graced by Head of security agencies , traditional rulers and other stakeholders.
