NIGERIA @63: TIME TO REFLECT ON ACHIEVEMENTS AND CHALLENGES- KANO SPEAKER 01-10-23
By Sadiq Aminu The speaker Kano state house of assembly Alhaji Isma’il Jibril Falgore has urged Nigerians to reflect back and emulate their forefathers who sacrificed their lives, in uniting the nation,despite sociocultural and geographical differences.
This was contained in a congratulatory message to Nigerians on the 63rd independence celebration, signed by the director press Kano state house of assembly and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
He emphasized the need for Nigerians to collaborate and work work together for a common goal of putting the nation first in all their undertakings.
“we need devine interventions through concerted and continued Prayers to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala for more meaningful developments”
The speaker pointed out that, the house would continue to discharge and deliver it’s constitutional responsibilities of law making, representation and oversight functions for the betterment of the People of Kano State.
Alhaji Isma’il stressed that,the 10th assembly ha passed many motions and constituted house Standing committees for easy discharge of oversight functions.
He however hinted that, the house would continue to work with the executive arm of government, judiciary and all relevant stakeholders.
“which is the key for the accomplishments and executions of government policies, programs and projects for the betterment of the People of Kano State”
The speaker saluted the executive governor of Kano state, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf on the occasion of Nigeria’s Independence anniversary, assuring that, the government is committee to transforming the state,through series of developments projects and Programs.
Alhaji Isma’il urged Kano Citizens to part to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala for peace and stability in the country.
” the People of Kano are witness to series of infrastructural developments being executed by the incumbent administration especially in Agriculture Education Health Care delivery and many more”
