POST SUBSIDY REGIME: GOVERNOR BAGO TAKES DELIVERY OF CNG BUSES                                                       03-10-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      In a significant move to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal and promote sustainable transportation, Governor Umaru Mohammed Mohammed Umar Bago’s ordered Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses have commenced arrival in the state. This development signals the governor’s commitment to building a New Niger and finding innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by Nigerlites and the transportation sector.

The introduction of CNG buses is expected to bring multiple benefits to the state and its people. Not only will it mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal and reduce dependency on conventional fuels, but it will also contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and environmental pollution. These buses offer a more eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative, aligning with Governor Umar Bago’s vision for a greener and prosperous Niger State.
