ZAMFARA STATE TEACHERS WELFARE GETS BOOST AS UBE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN ASSUMES DUTY 16-11-23
By Sadiq Aminu Zamfara State government has recorded 61 percent of out of school children across the state.
The newly appointed executive Chairman of the Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB) Professor Nasir Garba Anka announced this at a reception organized by the management and staff at the board’s Headquarter in Gusau.
Professor Anka has vowed to reposition Basic education to a greater height and improve on pupils enrollment to reduce the parentage of out of school children and teachers Welfare in the state.
He said that, staff Welfare is a top priority that motivates them to work effectively, noting that without their Welfare and good remuneration the teaching and learning process may suffer challenges.
The board’s Chairman also urged the management and staff of the Board to join hands with him to achieve the set objectives for revamping the educational sector of the state.
According to him, his administration at the Board will ensure inclusiveness for better results adding that, the governor has already declared a state of Emergency on Education and assured to contribute positively for the betterment of the sector.
The ZSUBEB Chairman also thanked all his supporters from all angles in the state, his relatives and friends for kind support with prayers and good will messages and assured them that he will justify the confidence restored on him.
