PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS a NEW BOARD AND MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR the NIGERIAN NATIONAL PETROLEUM COMPANY LIMITED                                                                                          27-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, with effect from December 1, this year.

In a statement Chief Pius Akinyelure will serve as Non-Executive Board Chairman, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya, Chief Financial Officer, while Mr. Ledum Mitee, serves as Non-Executive Director.

The rest are Mr. Musa Tumsa, Non-Executive Director, Mr. Ghali Muhammad, Non-Executive Director, Professor Mustapha Aliyu, Non-Executive Director, Mr. David Ogbodo, Non-Executive Director, and Ms. Eunice Thomas, Non-Executive Director.

The statement says the President has also approved the appointment of two Permanent Secretaries, whose names are listed as Mr. Okokon Ekanem Udo, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, and Ambassador Gabriel Aduda, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.

Signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the statement says the anticipates the fullest measure of compliance with the performance-driven and results-oriented mandate of his Renewed Hope administration.
