SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT: BE WARNED ANY FORM OF DISTRUPTION WILL NOT BE TOLERATED – POLICE                                                             08-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                   Ahead of the Kano Gubernatorial verdict expected to be delivered in the near future, the Commissioner of Police Kano Command Mohammad Hussein Gumel has warned the supporters of political parties to desist from causing any form of havoc before and after the supreme Court Jugdement.

Mohammad Hussein Gumel disclosed this shortly after a joint meeting with head of security agencies and representatives of the two major political Parties APC and NNPP held at police headquaters bompai Kano.

He said the objectives of the meeting was to call the attention of the political parties to stand by the already signed peace accord .

“At the end of this meeting all stakeholders reiterated their commitment towards sustaining the peace accord signed to ensure peaceful celebrations of christmas and new year,and also to stop panicking in the state”

CP Mogammad Hussein Gumel maitained that to acheived the set objectives the police command in Kano has visited religious leaders and other relevant stakeholders with a view to intimate them on the need to enlightened the general populace on the importance of peaceful coexistence irrespective of their political differences.

In their seperate remarks the representatives of APC and NNPP Shehu Maigari and Hashimu Dungurawa promised to extend the wordings to their supporters ,aimed at having a peacful soceity.
