NGF CHAIRMAN MOURNS VICTIMS OF PLATEAU VIOLENCE                                                                                           26-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Kwara State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condemned the violent attacks that claimed over Ninety six lives across fifteen villages in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

In a condolence message to the government and people of Plateau State, especially the bereaved families, the Governor described the attacks as shocking and sad.

He insisted that nothing justifies the violence and gruesome murder that occurred on the eve of Christmas celebration.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq urged the security agencies to get to the roots of the incident and bring the perpetrators to book.

He prays God to give comfort to all the affected families, and appeals to everyone on the Plateau to do everything to avoid a cycle of violence, which only inflicts generational pains and underdevelopment.
