SCHOOL SECURITY GUARD COMMITS SUICIDE IN KANO STATE 30-01-24
By Sadiq Aminu A 37 years old man, Nuradeen Shehu, a security guard at Prestige International College, Danmusa Street, Gadon Kaya of Gwale Local Government Area has reportedly committed suicide.
The Commissioner of Police Hussaini Gumel, disclosed this to Africa 247 correspondent in Kano.
He said the incident occurred at one of the class rooms of the college.
“on Jan.28 at about 10:30 hours Abdullahi Abdulsalam of Rijiyar brought a report that one Nuradeen Shehu who is a security guard at the Prestige International College located at Danmusa Steet ,Gadon Kaya was found motionless after he hanged himself with rope in a classroom.”
CP Gumel explained that a team of Police from Gwale led by the DPO we’re at the scene and forcefully unlocked the door cut the rope and rush the body to Murtala Mohammed General hospital where a medical doctor confirmed him dead.
The body was released to the family of the deceased for burial.
Information revealed that the deceased hanged himself having realized that his ex-wife have remarried.
He said that already the command have since commence intensive investigation
He said that the police would thoroughly investigate the motives behind the incident.
