PRESIDENT TINUBU PLEDGES THAT  ASSAILANTS OF TRADITIONAL RULERS IN EKITI  WILL NOT ESCAPE JUSTICE                                                             30-01-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      President Bola Tinubu has pledged that the assailants of some traditional rulers in Ekiti State will not escape justice.

While condemning the act, the President said he received the news of the killing of the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunlola with grief.

In a statement, the President condoles with the families and subjects of the traditional rulers, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and the people of Ekiti State on what he describes as a deeply agonising development.

Signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the statement says the President has also directed the immediate rescue of pupils and teachers kidnapped around Eporo-Ekiti area of the State.

He assures Nigerians that the nation’s security architecture is being robustly fortified for better and expected outcomes.
