A member of the house of Representatives Abdulmalik Zubairu, Zannan Bungudu (APC-Zamfara) has reconstructed 20 Juma’at Mosques and 15 Islamiyya schools in Maru and Bungudu local government areas of the state.

Personal Assistant to the lawmaker, Jamilu Umar who led newsmen round the projects sites said the Mosques were totally overhauled, including the parameter fences and main structures

Umar said all the 20 Mosques were modernized to meet the aspirations of the worshippers.

Additionally, more than 100 other mosques for the five daily prayers were also constructed and some reconstructed in various communities within his Maru/ Bungudu Federal Constituency

According to him, the reconstruction is part of the lawmaker’s efforts to provide dividends of democracy to his constituents.

Similarly, the lawmaker converted his personal house to a centre for Qur’anic memorization with modern facilities and qualified manpower.

Zubairu also took the responsibility of paying the Islamiyya school teachers of all the 14 schools within the Maru and Bungudu local government areas.

Commenting on behalf of the communities, Muhammed Umar appreciated the lawmaker’s efforts in providing dividends of democracy to the electorate.
