PDP BOT CALLS ON PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ADDRESS WORSENING INSECURITY AND FALL IN VALUE OF NAIRA                                                                         14-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      The Peoples Democratic Party, Board of Trustees has called on President Bola Tinubu to address worsening insecurity in the country and the continuous fall in the value of the naira.

The Chairman of the board, former Senate president Adolphus Wabara made the call at the the 76th BOT meeting of the PDP in Abuja.

Senator Wabara said the BOT is deeply concerned about the biting economic hardship, high cost of essential life-enhancing commodities, alarming food scarcity and worsening insecurity
in the country.

The chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Mallam Bala Mohammad of Bauchi state said the pervasive hunger and anger in the land required that the part should be a credible opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

The national chairman of the PDP Ambassador Umar Damagun told the BOT members that the party is now ready to commence the process of rebuilding now that all maters concerning the 2023 general election have been laid to rest.

The BOT has confirmed Senator Wabara, who had been acting as it substantive Chairman during the meeting.
