FEDERAL GOVERNMENT APPROVES N9B FOR GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE FOR ITS CIVIL SERVANTS- IDRIS MALAGI 20-02-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Federal Government has approved nine billion naira for Group life Assurance for Federal Government workers.
Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris Malagi announced this at the twenty twenty four Conference, Annual General Meeting and election of Niger state chapter of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIFR held in Minna.
Represented by the Director General Voice Of Nigeria VON Jibrin Baba Ndace the Minister of Information and National Orientation also said the establishment of Federal Government Infrastructure Support Fund for states to invest in critical areas would no doubt create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
According to him the Federal Government is aware of the rising cost of staple food in the market however, it has ensured that it doesn’t lose track in fixing the economy, fighting insecurity, attracting foreign direct investment and consolidating Nigeria’s foreign policy ethos on the world stage.
Mohammed Idris further explained that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu also approved for the increase of Primary Healthcare Centres from eight thousand three hundred to seventeen thousand six hundred towards boosting effective healthcare delivery system in Nigeria.
Arrangements have reached an advance stage by the Federal Government to launch a one hundred billion naira CNG bus rollout and the establishment of a Presidential Committee to drive Implementation.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris can also said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given him a Presidential Mandate to come up with the National Value Charter an official document that he said redirect all Nigerians irrespective of class ethnicity and religion to the ideals of we were traditionally known for to fastrack the development process of Nigeria to achieve maximum results.
In his remarks former Niger state Governor Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu who described the event as apt would also want members of the Niger state chapter of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations to be in the fore front in contributing their quota in finding out lasting solution to the problems of Nigeria.
