10 SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS  ARRESTED BY THE NIGERIA POLICE IN KEFFI LGA OF NASARAWA STATE                                                                      22-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Ten suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the Nigeria police in Keffi Local Government area of Nasarawa State.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Police public relations officer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramhan Nansel in lafia.

The statement says the arrest followed credible information about the influx of internet fraudsters into the area.

It points out that Police operatives attached to Angwan Lambu Division raided the hideout of the cybercriminals located in GRA, Keffi and arrested the suspects with two Laptops, ten sophisticated mobile phones of different brands, three WIFI routers, criminal charms, black soap and hard drugs suspected to be Indian helm recovered from them.

The statement says the suspected internet fraudsters would be charged to court once investigation is concluded.

According to the statement, the state commissioner of police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada commends the officers for a job well done and urges them to sustain raids on all criminal hideouts.
