KNHA CONFIRMS 748 AS MEMBERS KANO LGA INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE’S                                                                                                       07-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The ad-hoc committee set up by the Kano State House of Assembly, for screening nominees for appointment as interim management committees (IMC) of 44 local has presented its report.

The Chairman House Standing Committee on Local Governments and Chieftency Affairs, Alhaji Hamza Zubairu Massu explained that the nominees were scrutinized and met all the criteria to be appointed as Interim Management Committee members of Kano LGAs.

The house unanimously adopted all the recommendations of the ad-hoc committee.

The Speaker Alhaji Jibril Isma’il Falgore commended the outstanding work and the efforts put in by all the sub-committees that made the final screening possible.

He pointed out that, the house resolution would be forwarded to the Governor of Kano State for assent and subsequent swearing-in of the interim management committees of the 44 local government councils.
