RAMADAN LECTURE: KEBBI FIRST LADY URGES MUSLIMS TO SUPPORT THE LESS PREVILEDGE                                                                                                        09-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        Bearly fwe days to Ramadan fasting, the wife of the Kebbi state Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris, has called on the Muslim Ummah and particularly the wealthy individuals to support the less previlage ones in the society during the month of Ramadan.

The wife of the governor, who made the call at the 6th Annual Pre-Ramadan Lecture organised by the Nigeria Television Authority NTA Birnin Kebbi, said those assisting the less previlage ones during the month of Ramadan would have their reward from Allah.

The wife of the Governor, urged Muslims to intensified prayers during the month for Allah to bring to an end the current challenges of the country so that sustainable peace and harmony will reign.

She therefore promised to render continue support to the programme and urged wealthy individuals to also support the programme.

The General Manager NTA Birnin Kebbi, Mohammed Lawal Ahmed, represented by the marketing Manager, Muhammad Abubakar Layya, said the Pre-Ramadan Lecture was an annual event meant to enlighten the public to have the knowledge of do’s and don’t during the month of Ramadan.

According to him, this is the 6th edition of the programme and therefore called on wealthy individuals to support the programme for it to become national.

Papers were also presented by Islamic schoolers with the title Merit and Demerit of Social Media during and after Ramadan by Malam Hussaini Abubakar Giro and Importance of Assisting People During Hardship by Dr. Faruk Sadik Tilli.
