HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RECEIVE 2024 BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY                                                                         12-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted the 2024 Statutory Budget Proposal for the FCT to the National Assembly.
In a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Tajudeen Abbas.
President Tinubu said the budget proposal was prepared based on FCT revenue and expenditure projection
According to the letter from President Tinubu, the FCT 2024 budget proposal takes into consideration the 2024 to 2026 Economy Recovery Plan of the FCT.
In the Budget Proposal, the FCTA prioritized the equipments of medical services, job creation, youth empowerment and improved agricultural Productivity in the Territory.
President Tinubu explained that the FCT 2024 Budget Proposal Prepared by the FCT Minister is inline with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Present administration for developmental policies and Programs to lift many citizens of the country out of poverty
President Bola Tinubu called on the House of Representatives for kind and expeditious approval of the proposal.
