PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU APPEALS TO NIGERIANS TO PRAY FOR PEACE AND STABILITY IN THE COUNTRY                                                                                12-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       President Bola Tinubu has appealed to Nigerians to pray for peace and stability in the country.

The President made the appeal in Abuja at the opening of this year’s Ramadhan Tafsir at the State House mosque.

President Tinubu advised the Muslim faithful to demonstrate kindness to one another and their neighbours while also supporting the less-privileged in society.

He acknowledged the tough time Nigerians are passing through, saying however that Allah has ordained human beings to make sacrifices, to discipline themselves, help others, and be kind to themselves.

‘While thanking Allah for allowing the citizenry to witness another holy month of Ramadan, he prayed Allah to strengthen the administration’s resolve to change the country for the better, and help Nigerians to extend their love to their neighbours.

The President also beseeched Allah to give the country success against kidnappers, bandits, and other criminals, and also show mercy on citizens, including the dead, and accept every good deeds acted.

The President also prayed for Nigerians to have strength and good life and good life to see the month of Ramadan through and to continue in good faith to worship Him.

He told the Ulama that God had given them the wisdom, knowledge, and the heart to teach others, emphasising the importance of teaching forgiveness, patience, and endurance to the faithful, as well as sharing their blessings with others.

The President further prayed Almighty Allah to grant Nigerians the privilege and strength, including the strength of character and attitude to love Nigeria and make her great great.
