ZAMFARA APC APPRECIATES RAMADAN WELFARE DISTRIBUTED BY PARTY STAKEHOLDERS                                                                                                    01-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The All Progressives Congress, APC, Zamfara State, has appreciated the efforts of the party leaders for distributing Ramadan welfare packages especially to many people who are faced with terrible economic hardship.

The Party’s Welfare Secretary in the state Alhaji Bashir Idris Ataka made this known in a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.

He said that, the welfare package has impacted the lives of many people in the state especially those in hard to reach areas.

Ataka who registered their profound appreciation over the gestures, which cut across party lines and extend to the poor as well as orphans in the state.

He said the immediate past governor of the state and Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Senator Kabiru Marafa, Sani Jaji, Muktar Shehu Idris and Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan have donated greatly to the people of the state.

These gentlemen have never relented in supporting both APC and non-APC members in the state at all times, the latest of which is the distribution of overwhelming tons of assorted grains and money to cushion the effects of the current hardships particularly during this Holy Month of Ramadan.

Ataka also gave assurances that more are coming, especially ahead of the Eid-El-Fitr festivities and called on continue support and prayers to the leaders and elders of thought in their drive to the unity, development, growth, and welfare of the state and the people.

He also urge all the well to do individuals and groups in the state to emulate these five great leaders so that poverty and economic hardship would reduced to the nearest minimum.
