Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has prayed for God’s wisdom and protection to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver on his promises in piloting the affairs of the country.
Speaking in his message shortly after observing the Eid Prayer in Kontagora Governor Bago also prayed God to guide leaders at level of Governornance to discharge their duties in accordance with the dictates of the law.
He appealed to Muslims to maintain the teaching of the Ramadan especially in assisting the elderly, neighbours and the needy in the society.
Also in his Sallah message, the immediate past Governor of the State and Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District Abubakar Sani Bello prayed God to continue to protect the country and provide more peaceful coexistence
Earlier in a Sermon, the Chief Imam Kontagora Ilyas Abdulmalik stressed the need for leaders to strive towards fulfilling yearnings of the people.
