EMIR OF BICHI PAYS SALLAH HOMAGE TO GOVERNOR YUSUF, APPEALS FOR THE ADOPTION OF MECHANIZED FARMING 13-04-24
By Sadiq Aminu The emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero has Appealed to Kano State Government to embrace Mechanized System of Farming, with the aim of Improving yield production.
The Emir Stated this when he paid Sallah Homage to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at Government House Kano.
He said as the Rainy season is approaching their was the need for government to provide Assorted Farm inputs and fertilizer at subsidize rates to farmers geared towards boosting food production.
Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero advices Government to intensify efforts in ensuring adequate means of utilizing Solar for Generating Electricity due to the high increase of price of diesel.
“At this juncture, we will use this avenue to advice government in taking all the needed measure for addressing climate change which is affecting the society negatively”
The Emir of Bichi commended the Kano State Government for providing laudable developmental projects since assumption in office barely ten months ago.
Responding Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf rejoice with Bichi Emirate and the people of the state for witnessing this years Eid Fitr.
He said since assumption of office his administration was working assiduously in providing infrastructure for the development of the general populace.
“Within the first quarter of assumption of office we recovered and rehabilitated the Asiya Bayero Pediatric hospital in the municipality, while the accident and emergency section of the Murtala Mohammad General Hospital has been renovated up to standard ”
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf noted that among the priority of his administration is uplifting the standard of Education, health, agriculture and infrastructure.
“In an effort to decongest traffic and ensure that the Kano State has been upgraded to global standard commercial city, we’ve embarked on the construction of two modern flyovers at Dan’agundi and Tal’udu ,and I assure when these two flyovers were been completed Kano would have a new look”
He added that his administration has introduced different modes of women and youth empowerment with the aim of making them to become self reliant and employers of Labour.
