USMAN DANFODIYO UNIVERSITY GRADUATES ABOUT 2932 STUDENTS                                                                                                           17-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto says it’s set to graduate a total of twenty two thousand nine hundred and thirty two students who successfully completed their studies in various discipline in the University.

The vice chancellor of the University, Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis stated this at a news briefing aimed at informing the general public on the planned convocation ceremony which commenced on the 15th of April 2024 and expected to end on the twentieth of this month.

He explained that the ceremony is a combined convocation of the 38th, 39th, fortieth and 41th, Convocation of the University.

Prof. Bilbis disclosed that a lecture would be delivered by the National Security Advisor Malami Nuhu Rabado on the multi dimensional insecurity challenges in the northern part of the country, slated on the 18th of April.

The vice chancellor added that the event would also features conferment of honorary degrees to some distinguished participants.
