PRESIDENT TINUBU DIRECTS AGENCIES IN RIVERS STATE TO LIAISE WITH THE STATE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE SUPPORT TO VICTIMS OF FIRE INCIDENT                                                                          28-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu.                                                                President Bola Tinubu has directed federal agencies in Rivers State to liaise with the state government to provide immediate support to victims of fire incident caused by petroleum tanker accident in Port Harcourt.

He commended the first responders in the state for their bravery and dedication in assisting those affected by the accident, and expressed confidence that stricter safety regulations for the transportation of petroleum products will be implemented to prevent such tragedies in the future.

The President condoled with the families of the victims of the fire incident, and commiserated with the government and people of Rivers State on this tragedy, which resulted in the loss of lives and property,

He prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
