OHIMEGE-IGU OF KOTON KARFI, DR. SAIDU AKAWU CONDEMNS THE MANNER IN WHICH YOUTHS RESORT TO USE DANGEROUS WEAPONS IN CONFLICT SITUATIONS 01-05-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Ohimege-Igu of Koton Karfi in Kogi State, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu has condemned the manner in which youths in the country results to use of dangerous weapons in conflict situations.
The Ohimege-Igu made the condemnation in his palace in Koton karfi, while addressing the newly turban titled holders who are to serve as his cabinet members.
Dr. Akawu Salihu appealed to to title holders in the kingdom to assist the palace in engaging with youths in their domain to refrain from thuggery and live in peace with one another.
He charged the newly inaugurated titled holders to operate in accordance with their loyalty and credibility through which they were chosen to represent their communities.
A total of twenty five deserving sons of the kingdom were turbans with various titles among which is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Salihu Ibrahim.
