NSCDC APPREHENDS ELEVEN SUSPECTED CRIMINALS IN KANO STATE                                                                                                     09-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              Following midnight patrol by the joint operatives of security agencies attached to Kano State government Taskforce on combating Phone snatch and illicit drugs, eleven (11) suspected criminals have been arrested.

In a statement signed by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command, said
the suspects were nabbed around Sabon gari, Fagge, Kantin kwari Market and Kofar Mata with dangerous weapons and some illicit drugs ranging from sword, knife, scissors, suck and die ( sukudayen), gum solution among others are believed to have been terrorising the areas with snatching of phones, vandalism, drugs peddling and theft.

The Statement noted that Kano’s NSCDC Intelligence and Investigation department had concluded all the necessary investigation and the suspects have since been charged to court.
