FEDERAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL SETS UP A TRIPARTITE COMMITTEE TO REVIEW VISA PROCESSES AND MAKE THEM SEAMLESS                                                                        14-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Federal Executive Council has set up a tripartite committee to review visa processes and and make them less cumbersome.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Muhammad Idris, stated this in Abuja while briefing State House correspondents on the outcome of this week’s FEC meeting.

He said the committee would work to make it possible for visas to be applied electronically and processed within 24 hours.

Also briefing, the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, said 600 CNG-powered buses would soon arrive in the country to ease transportation and make it affordable.

He also said 30 thousand conversion kits were on their way to sustain the policy and ease the cost of living brought about the government’s economic reforms.
