NIGER GOVERNMENT SETS TO COMMISSION THE 200 CNG BUSES PROCURED 27-05-24
By Sadiq Aminu Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state will tomorrow TUESDAY commission the two hundred CNG Buses procured by the state government to cushion the effect of subsidy removal of the Federal Government.
The gesture is also part of effort at boosting the transport sector and High Tech vehicles for security agencies to curb insecurity.
Commissioner of Information and Strategy Hajiya Binta Mamman stated this while addressing Newsmen in Minna, on the one year anniversary of Governor Umar Bago.
Hajiya Binta Mamman said a novelty football match will be played this evening at the Bako Kontagora stadium Minna between the Executive and Legislature while there was also a flag off of Human Papilloma virus Hpv for young female students between the age of nine and forteen years in Minna today.
Accoding to her though the celebration is low keyed, activities lined up were kick started with both Muslims and Christians special prayers held on Friday and Sunday throughout the state.
Hajiya Binta Mamman explained that there is no doubt in Niger state, a new era of progress and prosperity is underway because the one year administration of Governor Umar Bago has sparked a transformer like never before and implored Nigerlites to rally round him to succeed.
The Niger state Commissioner of Information and Strategy however added that the Governor’s vision for a thriving Niger state is coming to life as his unwavering commitment to turning around the state has led to remarkable upgrades and innovations which showcase his commitment and dedication to excellence.
