PRESIDENT TINUBU CALLS FOR REINFORCEMENT OF FAMILY UNIT, WHERE VALUES OF HONESTY, MODESTY, HARD-WORK, AND CHARITY ARE ASSIMILATED                                                                             27-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   President Bola Tinubu has called for the reinforcement of the family unit, where the values of honesty, modesty, hardwork, and charity are passed down to the younger ones.

In a statement, the President observes that society is a reflection of each family unit, and calls for the preservation of those principles that make the society a wholesome, nurturing, and thriving nation.

Rejoicing with parents, guardians, and families across the nation on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day, the President says his administration is ensuring that children realise their dreams.

He says due to the urge to expand to qualitative education, the government has increased investments in education, overhauled the entire education system, enhanced the efforts of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education to get children off the streets.

President Tinubu reassures the nation of his commitment to ensuring a safe and secure ambience of learning for the children while improving the standard of education.
