GOVERNOR UZODIMMA APPEALS TO NIGERIANS NOT TO LOSE FAITH IN THE GOVERNMENT AS THE HARDSHIP WILL SOON BE OVER                                                                                                                             19-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has appealed to Nigerians not to lose faith in the government as the hardship facing the people will soon be over.

The Governor made the call while addressing Journalists who visited him in the government house Owerri.

He said the media was strategic in the development of any society hence the government must see the fourth estate of the realm as a partner in progress for it to succeed.

Governor Uzodimma called on media professionals to sensitize Nigerians on the need for the removal of fuel subsidy while assuring them that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is on the move to economic recovery.

The Chairman Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Imo state Chapter Comrade Chinonso Alozie commended the state government for infrastructural development and called for partnership with the government.

Africa 247 Correspondent reports that highlight of the visit was the donation of operational vehicles to Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists Imo state chapters by Governor Uzodimma.
