BANDIT KILLS DANFODIO UNIVERSITY DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR 25-06-24
By Sadiq Aminu The death has occurred of the deputy vice chancellor of the department of research innovation and development , Usman Danfodiyo University sokoto, Prof. Yusuf saidu.
In a statement signed by the public relations officer of the university says the deceased was killed by bandits on his way to Kaduna on an official visit, when the gunmen attacked his vehicle and shot him death.
The statement regretted that prof. Yusuf saidu Was a distinguished leader and a passionate researcher who contributed to the development of the university.
It’s further stated that prof Yusuf saidu has leaved a footprint that will continue to withstand the test of time in the history of research development in the country.
the statement extends it’s condolence to the family and friends of the deceased.
