FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES UNVEILES IT’S ONE YEAR SCORECARD UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF DR TAJUDEEN ABBAS                                                                          03-07-024

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The House of Representatives has unveiled its one year Scorecard under the leadership of Dr Tajudeen Abbas as the Speaker House of Representatives.
The Speaker House of Representatives Dr. Tajudeen Abbas unveiling the Scorecard in Abuja during the House of Representatives Legislative Open Week reeled the achievements recorded and challenges faced in the last one year.
The Speaker said it is the first time in the history of the nation’s National Assembly for such initiative.

Dr Abbas explained that the unveiling of the scorecard publicly is to enable the the citizens assess the leadership of the House in the last one year and criticize it when necessary.
Dr. Tajudeen Abbas emphasized that the House of Representatives under his leadership is committed to accountability and transparency for the desired Socio-economic development. He said the House has passed so many Bills aimed at promoting good governance and the wellbeing of the citizens.

The Speaker reiterated the commitment of the Leadership of the Tenth House of Representatives to openness to conducting Public hearings to improving the quality of law making.
