SENATE CONFIRMS THE APPOINTMENT OF DR ABDULLAHI USMAN BELLO AS THE CHAIRMAN OF CCT                                                                                                                    04-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Dr Abdullahi Usman Bello as the chairman code of conduct Bureau in accordance with section 154 of Nigerian Constitution.

The Appointment is subject to the report of the committee on ethics, code of conduct and public petitions.

The deputy Senate president. Barau jibrin who presided over the plenary called on Dr Abdullahi Bello to work in line with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu renewed hope agenda and uphold the integrity of the nation considering the sensitive nature of the office

Meanwhile, A bill for an act to establish police pension board to handle pension matters for personnel’s of the force and also a bill to amend the Nigerian railway corporation act passed through second reading.
