SENATOR UBAH’S DEATH SHOCKING, SPEAKER, DEPUTY SPEAKER MOURN ANAMBRA-SOUTH LAWMAKER                                                                                              27-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Tajudeen, Abbas has expressed shock over the death of the lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
The Speaker who expressed sadness and shock in a condolence message through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, described Senator Ubah as one of the pillars of the ruling APC in the South-East geopolitical zone.

Dr. Abbas said Senator Ubah was a dedicated lawmaker, successful businessman and great philanthropist.

Similarly the Deputy Speaker, Mr. Benjamin Kalu, in a condolence message by his Special Assistant Press Affairs, Udora Orizu described the late lawmaker as a patriot and philanthropist, who made remarkable strides in the parliament, media, sports and petroleum downstream industry.
The Deputy Speaker noted that Senator Ubah contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and through his Company Capital Oil Nigeria Ltd, football club, Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Nnewi, Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Authority newspaper and other numerous businesses provided employments for many Nigerians.
Speaker and his Deputy extended their condolences to the Senator Ubah family, people, and government of Anambra State, and the Senate for the “huge loss.”
They prayed to God to grant Senator Ubah eternal rest.
