GOVERNOR NASIR IDRIS PRESENTS HILUX JEEPS TO THE 21 NEWLY SWORN-IN COUNCIL CHIARMEN 02-09-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has presented 21 Hilux Jeeps to 21 elected Council Chairmen immediately after sworing in.
Presenting the vehicle keys to the elected Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the Government House Birnin Kebbi, Governor Idris said, the procurement and distribution of the vehicles to the Council Chairmen was necessary as they do not own vehicles of their own.
He stated that, the new Hilux jeeps would enable the council chairmen to be connected with the people and carry out their official duties effectively.
While swearing in the council chairmen, the Governor expressed joy over the APC’s victory in the local government elections and attributed the victory to his leadership track record.
He appealed to the new Council Chiarmen to embark on developmental projects that would benefit their various constituencies
and as well to carry everyone along, ensure grassroots impact and fear God while discharging your duties.
