UPLIFTING THE STANDARD OF EDUCATION, OUR ADMINISTRATION’S PRIORITY – GOVERNOR YUSUF                                                                                                                        02-09-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                      The Kano State Government has Reaffirmed its Commitment towards uplifting the standard of Education accross all levels in the State.

The Governor stated this when he paid an inspection visit to government girls boarding secondary school albasu, in Albasu local government area of the state.

He said since assumption of office his administration has put much emphasis on the revitalization of the Educational sector .

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf noted that his Administration has embarked on total renovations of the girls boarding secondary school which were closed down by the previous administration with a view to reopen them and enhance the girl child education.

” We’ve gone round this secondary school and have seen the level of it’s deterioration,it is unfortunate how the previous administration closed down many boarding secondary school in Kano and abandoned them without necessary concern,I assure you that we will complete the renovation of this school soon,and we will insha Allah reopen all the girls boarding secondary school that were closed down”

In a related development, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf visited an erosion affected area at Albasu local government to assertain the level of damage caused by the Erosion as a result of heavy downpour experienced this year.

He directed the ministry concerned to take prompt measures in Addressing the challenge.
