GOVERNOR ABDULRAZAQ DIRECTS DEPLOYMENT OF FREE BUSES, URGES CALM                                                                        05-09-24

               By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has directed the immediate deployment of buses to different parts of the metropolis to ease movement of commuters.

In a statement governor AbdulRazq spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye said
the buses are to take people to the most central destinations free of charge.

The statement said the intervention would be extended to persons attending the SUBEB job placement interviews in the metropolis.

The statement appealed to transporters and members of the public to exercise patience over the new fuel price hike, adding that different government stakeholders are reviewing the situation with public good as a top priority.

The statement regrets inconveniences caused members of the public, noting that things will ease up as soon as possible.
