COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN ANAMBRA STATE ORDERS INVESTIGATION INTO THE MURDER OF THREE PERSONS AT ISIONYE LAND                                                                                                                                           10-09-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Commissioner of Police in Anambra state, Mr Nnaghe Itam has ordered investigation into the murder of three persons at Isionye land, a boundary between Enugu ukwu and Nwafia.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga in a release said the incident left five other persons seriously injured.

He explained that preliminary information revealed that the victims were lured by some individuals through a phone call to the land in a guise of a land transaction and then attacked them with guns and machetes.

The Police Image Maker said the Commissioner of Police, Mr Itam had called for calm as Police operatives had recovered the abandoned Sennia vehicle used by the murderers.

Mr Ikenga pointed out that the testimonies of the injured victims who were currently receiving treatment in the hospital was aiding the investigation, while the bodies of the deceased had been deposited in a morgue.
