Alhassan Ado Doguwa, says, President Bola Tinubu’s has recorded significant achievements in the Northern part of country, especially the administration’s firm stance in dealing with security issues that has been tormenting the region.
Ado Doguwa in Statement, noted that the President is working genuinely to correct the fiscal misalignments, and the bane of the country’s economic downturn.
Ado Doguwa who is also the Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Upstream explained that the country has attracted foreign direct investments worth more than $30 billion in 16 months, paid a forex backlog of $7 billion and cleared the ways and means of over N30 trillion he inherited from the last administration.
The member representing Tudun Wada Doguwa Federal Constituency of Kano State, while reacting to remarks by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso that northerners are tired of APC, pointed out that President Tinubu is not leaving any stone unturned in his quest to return the country to the path of progress and prosperity.
According to Ado Doguwa, the Present government has eliminated over 300 Boko Haram and bandit commanders, including Kachalla Halilu Sububu, who terrorised the people in Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina and Kaduna for over five years.
He said Northerners are gradually returning to their farms for a bumper harvest as a result of the progress recorded in the fight against terrorism, banditry and other criminal act in the region
The Chairman Northern Regional Caucus of the House of Representatives, expressed optimism that in a few months, the hardship being faced in the country will fizzle out as the president’s numerous interventions bear fruits.
