By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Spokesman of the opposition lawmakers Coalition, Mr. Ikenga Ugochinyere says the decision by the Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Yayari Ahmed to hit the ground running immediately after his appointment will rebuild the party
Mr. Ikenga in a statement in Abuja said the decision of the new acting chairman shows his understanding of the urgency to reposition the party for greater electoral fortunes ahead of the 2027 election .
The spokesman of the Coalition who noted that the action by the National chairman would bring confidence in the party, stressed the need for an urgent desire to sanitize the system , restore internal democracy to restore peace and cohesion in the party .
Mr. Ugochinyere who represent ideato North and South Federal Constituency of Imo State said the Acting Chairman has rekindled hope among the PDP family .
He reaffirmed his group and the support of the house for the leadership of the new National Chairman and its resolve to ensure a rapid reform of the party.
