PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES THE RECONSTITUTION OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT OF 12 RIVER BASIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITIES                                                                                                18-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                President Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Executive Management of 12 River Basin Development Authorities under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

The affected are Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, comprising Abeokuta, Lagos, and Oyo.

Oyo is to be chaired by Odebunmi Olusegun, while Ayo Oyalowo serves as Executive Director, Finance.

Dr. Adedeji Ashiru will serve as Managing Director, Osun, while Dokunmu Olufemi Oyekunle, becomes Executive Director, Planning and Design, Ogun.

The rest are Suleiman Oris, Executive Director, Agric Services, Lagos, and Julius Oloro, Executive Director, Engineering, Lagos.

Upper Benue River Basin Authority Development, comprising Adamawa, Taraba Gombe, and Bauchi has Alhaji Sanusi Mohammed Babantanko as Chairman, Bauchi.

Samuel Mahmud Mohammed becomes Managing Director, Taraba, while Usman Babandubu Bakare serves as Executive Director, Engineering, Taraba.

Others are Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo, Executive Director Finance, Gombe, Isa Matori, Executive Director, Planning and Design Part of Bauchi, and Hamman Dikko, Executive Director, Agric Services, Adamawa.

Chad Basin Development Authority, Maiduguri, comprising Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa has Professor Abdu Dauda as Chairman, Borno.

Tijjani Musa Tumsa, Managing Director, Yobe, and Bashir Baale, Executive Director, Finance, Yobe

The rest are lliyasu Muazu, Executive Director, Agric Services, Adamawa, Mohammed Shetima – Executive Director, Engineering, Borno, and Vrati Nzonzo, – Executive Director, Planning and Design, Borno.

Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority comprising Edo, Delta North, Ondo, and Ekiti is now be chaired by Mike Ohio Ezomo, Edo.

Femi Adekanbi becomes Managing Director, Ondo, and Dr. Austin Nonyelim Izagbo serves as Executive Director Planning and Design, Delta.

The rest are Johnson Oghuma, Executive Director, Agric Services, Edo, Adegboyega Bamisile, Executive Director Finance, Ekiti, and Bayode Akinduro, Executive Director Engineering, Ondo.

Niger Delta Basin Development Authority comprising Rivers, Bayelsa and parts of Delta has Ebikemi Boi Bosin as Chairman, Delta.

Amgbare Ebitimi serves as Managing Director, Bayelsa, and Mary Alagoa is the Executive Director Finance, Rivers.

Dr. Austin Izagbo, becomes Executive Director, Engineering, Delta, while Mr. Felix Kurogha, becomes Executive Director Agric Services, Bayelsa, and Nnamdi Akani serves as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Rivers.

Upper Niger River Basin Development Authority, Minna, comprising Niger, Kaduna, and FCT has Haruna Usman as Chairman, Niger.

Dangajere Bawa Jaja will serve as Managing Director, Kaduna,

Mohammed Usman becomes Executive Director, Finance, Niger, and Dr. Abdullahi comes in as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Niger.

The rest are Ayuba Waziri Tedde serves as Executive Director, Agric services, FCT, and John Hassan will serve as Executive Director, Engineering, Kaduna.

Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin, comprising Kwara and Kogi, will be chaired by Alhaji Abdullateef Alakawa, Kwara.

George Olumoroti serves as Managing Director, Kogi, and Babajamu Adeniran becomes Executive Director, Engineering, Kwara.

Abdullahi Sadiq will serve as Executive Director, Agric Services, Kogi, Alanamu Ayinla Abolere serves as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Kwara, while Abidemi Adeyemi becomes Executive Director Finance, Kogi.

Lower Benue RIVER6 Basin Development Authority, Makurdi, comprising Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, and Kogi will have Dr Amos Gizo Yadukso as Chairman, Plateau.

Ninga Terese serves as Managing Director, Benue, and Chief Chris Takar becomes Executive Director, Engineering, Benue.

Yusuf Omaaki becomes Executive Director, Finance, Nasarawa, Hassan Omale will serve as Executive Director, Agric Services, Kogi, while Okibe Timothy Ogomola becomes Executive Director, Planning and Design, Benue.

Anambra–Imo River Basin Development Authority, Owerri, comprising Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia and Ebonyi has Senator Emmanuel Anosike as Chairman, Anambra.

Emeka Nduka serves as Managing Director, Imo, and Nwebonyi Priscilla Nkechi becomes Executive Director Finance, Ebonyi.

Evaristus Asadu will serve as Executive Director, Engineering, Enugu, Onukwubiri Ojigwe is now Executive Director, Agric Services, Abia, and Abigail Igwe serves as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Anambra.

Hadejia Jama’ere River Basin Development Authority, Kano, comprising Kano, Jigawa, and Bauchi has Mamman Da’u Aliyu as Chairman, Jigawa.

Rabiu Suleiman Bichi becomes Managing Director, Kano, while Tijjani Musa Isa serves as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Jigawa.

The rest are Hajiya Zainab Gamawa, Executive Director Agric Services, Bauchi, Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir, Executive Director, Engineering, Kano, and Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Executive Director Finance, Kano.

Cross River Basin Development Authority, comprising Cross River and Akwa Ibom will be chaired by Mr. Wabilly Nyiam, Cross River.

Mrs. Glory Ekpo Oho will serve as Managing Director, Akwa Ibom, and Effiwatt Otu Eyo serves as Executive Director Finance, Cross River.

The rest are Ms. Ebiere Etuk Udoh, Executive Director, Agric Services, Akwa Ibom, Charles Usua Akpan, Executive Director, Engineering, Akwa Ibom, and Dr. Ndom Abia, Executive Director, Planning and Design, Akwa Ibom.

Sokoto Rima Basin Development Authority, comprising a Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, and Katsina has Bello Yahaya Wurno as Chairman, Sokoto.

Abubakar Mallam becomes Managing Director, Kebbi, and Kabiru Ladan Maigoro is now Executive Director, Planning and Design, Zamfara.

The rest are Abubakar Ibrahim, Executive Director, Finance, Katsina, Muttaka Badaru Jikamshi, Executive Director, Agric Services, Katsina, and Mansur, Executive Director, Engineering, Zamfara.

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga says President Tinubu expects the appointees to use their wealth of experience to bolster the efficiency of the organisations, in line with the administration’s commitment to bettering the lives of citizens.
