By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 International Organization of Tijjaniyyah Brotherhood (IOTB), has conducted medical outreach and humanitarian services at Area one IDP camp, Abuja.

The Chairman of the medical team, Dr Abubakar Danraka, who flagged off the exercise said the gesture is part of their corporate social responsibility, whenever they are having their annual National conference.

The exercise he said, include physical examination, prescription, health talk as well as distribution of free sanitary pads and medicated soap for five hundred IDPs.

The representative of the National president, Alhaji Ahmad Abdulyakin, urged the IDPs not to despair and to remain prayerful as their plight is a source of concern to all.

The women leader of the camp Mrs Liatu Ayuba, said the gesture would go a long way in alleviating their suffering.

The IDPs who benefitted from the exercise included nursing mothers, children and the elderly.
