PORT INDUSTRY OPERATORS URGED TO RE- COMMIT THEMSELVES TO THE VISIONS AND GOALS OF THE NATION’S MARINE AND BLUE ECONOMY MINISTRY                                                                                                       02-01-25

          By Sadiq Aminu                                                                    The nation’s Port Industry Operators have been urged to re – commit themselves to the visions and goals of the nation’s Marine and Blue Economy Ministry, in the new year.
This is contained in new year message to key Stakeholders in the industry, as part of celebrations of the new year.

The National President of the National Association of Government’s Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, urged all strategic partners of the Association to ensure total compliance to clearing procedures and be committed to the goals of NAGAFF, in their bid to further collectively work towards driving growth, innovation and the success of maritime industry, in 2025.
According to him, last year was filled with challenges but this year promises to bring baskets of opportunities hence the need to be optimistic at all times.

Meanwhile, the President of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, Chief Adewale Adeyanju has congratulated the Stakeholders in the Maritime Industry as the new year sets in.

In his new year message, Chief Adeyanju, who also doubles as the Deputy President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, expressed gratitude to Almighty God for a relative peace experienced in the country and the success recorded in shipping operations so far, therefore urged Nigerians particularly those in the sector, to continue to remain resilient and hopeful for a positive transformation in the sector, which would be of immense benefit to Nigerians and the entire nation.
