INFORMATION MINISTER, DG FRCN REAPPEAR FOR 2025 BUDGET DEFENCE 14-01-25
By Sadiq Aminu Following the postponement of the 2025 Budget Defence by the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation last week, the Minister of Information and National Orientation led the Director General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN Dr. Muhammad Bulama and other heads of agencies under the ministry are currently before the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation for the 2025 Budget Defence.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation in his opening remarks explained that value reorientation was key to the development of the country which the Ministry is spearheading.
Mr Idris emphasized that being a service ministry, they would continue to enlighten the citizens on the policies and programs to of the government.
He said for the citizens to key into the reforms and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Present administration.
The Minister said the ministry has reconstituted Town Hall committee to take to the door steps of the citizens the Policies and programs of the government as well as get feedback.
The Director General of FRCN was accompanied to the Budget Defence by Director Finance and Account Mallam Musa Bako, Director of Engineering services, Mallam Sanda Askira, Director Corporate Development and Communication Usana Omame and Director Administration, Mrs Adedeji Ayeni.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, Chief Kenneth Eze, in his remarks said the Senate was committed to supporting the agencies under Ministry of Information and National Orientation in driving the Policies and Programmes of the Present administration in achieving its Renewed Hope Agenda.
President Bola Tinubu had on 18th of December 2024 Presented the 49.7 trillion Naira 2025 Budget Proposal and the National Assembly commenced budget Defence on the 7th of January.
