YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT COMMISERATES WITH NGALDA COMMUNITY AFTER DEADLY ROBBERY INCIDENT                                                                                                                   22-01-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Yobe State Government has sent a high-powered delegation to express condolences and offer support to the families and victims of the recent armed robbery attack in Ngalda, Fika Local Government Area.

The delegation, led by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Ciroma Buba Mashio, includes other top government officials and security officers.

In a statement issued by his Director General of Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, Governor Mai Mala Buni expressed his deep sorrow for the lives lost and his sympathy for those injured, as well as the entire Ngalda community.

He has directed immediate support for the affected individuals, to provide comfort to the families of the deceased and those who sustained injuries.

The Governor has also instructed security agencies to identify and address any security gaps that may have contributed to the incident, in order to prevent future occurrences throughout the state.

Ngalda town is known for its large livestock market that operates weekly on Mondays.
